The Choreography was created by Jorma Uotinen, dancer, choreographer and director of the Finnish National Ballet, europewide known for his Tchaikovsky-based "Ballet Pathétique"; Jorma Uotinen regularly appears abroad as a guest dancer, teacher and choreographer.

Jorma Uotinen: "In every person, at every moment, opposite forces coexist:
good and evil;
light and darkness;
sin and purity;
love and cruelty.
Evangelicum is a completely fictional work. It is not based on historical or any kind of truth."

Producer Pekka Rahkonen: "In his wonderful, overwhelming choreography Jorma has taken influences from for example aikido. Not forgetting classical ballet."

The "Helsingin Sanomat" nov 17 1999: "Dance parts give us a totally new horizon to interpret movement and body language..."
